A studio news reader is where people are usually in a studio sat with a desk reporting on the news. They often set the tone for the news stories and are respondable for making links and segways to field reporters, interviewers and other things like actuality footage.
Field reporters.
They often get the rough end of the news. They are sent of to different locations to do different things like interviews and reporting on things. No matter what the weather they are off reporting come rain or shine. Field reporters can be a rough job as youre in public where people can interfere and distract them, eaither with them, the equipment or can just do things behind reporters to get on camera.
Links to studio.
This can be done two ways first being that the news anchors talk about people like interviewers or reporters that aren't at the studio they would reference them by saying their name, location and what they are doing. The second link to the studio is where reporters are finished with their segment and are addressing the studio acknowledging that they have finished.
Mode of address to viewer.
Interviewer.
Interviews people about subjects and other things. Can be formal and informal. Often askes questions about topics rearding what the interview is about and or their personal thouhhts and feelings.
Experts and witnesses.
Experts are some times called in to help and give their advice/knowledge regarding the subject.
